Day 1 :
The day starts with driving via the highway towards central Greece. We shall make a short stop/visit in the traditional picturesque village of Arachova, situated in the foothills of mount Parnassus. We continue until our final destination, Delphi. While visiting the area, you will have the opportunity to see great monuments such as the Tholos of Athena Pronaia, the Treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo, the Stoa of the Athenians, the Sacred Way, the Castalian fountain, the Treasury of the Siphnians, the Polygonal wall & the Ancient Theater.


You shall then continue with the Archaeological Museum, where you will admire rich collections of finds from the Delphi sanctuary through the permanent exhibitions.

Time for lunch in a traditional taverna in the nice town of Delphi & we continue our tour with driving via mount Parnassus. We shall pass via scenic places & traditional villages & we finally reach Kalampaka / Meteora. Time for dinner & you will spend you night in a area hotel.


Day 2 :
In the morning we start our wandering to the impressive Byzantine Orthodox Meteora Monasteries (Unesco’s World Heritage Listing). Most of the monasteries were built in 14th century on the top of natural sandstone rock pillars. You will visit at least five (from the six / depending on the day) monasteries such as the monastery of Great Meteoron, the Varlaam monastery, the monastery of St. Stephanos, the Rousanou monastery, the monastery of St. Nikolaos Anapafsa & the monastery of Agia Triada (Holy Trinity).


You will then enjoy your lunch & we shall start our returning back to Athens. While on route we shall have a last stop in Thermopylae (hot springs). It is the area where the famous battle between the Persians and Greeks (the 300 of Leonidas) took place in 480 B.C. You will admire the impressive statue of King of Sparta, Leonidas.

Early evening, our two days adventure come to an end with the arrival to our starting point in Athens.
